PST By Case

This practice test package, designed to hold the same structure as the actual test, helps you develop necessary skills for the McKinsey PST.

The actual test contains 26 questions distributed in three business scenarios, and you will be given 60 minutes to answer as many questions as possible.

These test aim to assess your ability to solve business problems using deductive, inductive, and quantitative reasoning

Let's follow these rules in your practice:

Select the best answer choice based on given context.

Information related to each practice scenario will be shown in text, tables, and exhibits. The questions ask you to find one, and only one most appropriate answer to the problem using only the information presented. Considering all information presented within the scenario is critical to answering the questions correctly.

Practice often with a clear strategy.

You may want to practice each scenario separately and without time pressureat first to get comfortable with the test’s format, hone your reasoning skills, and improve accuracy. Afterwards, you may opt to take a full test in one 60-minute haul to get acquainted with the real test and practice time-management. In case you are taking the actual test in less than 1 week, you can jump to the latter option immediately. Whatever means you choose, make sure you practice often, at least on a weekly basis, before taking the actual test.

Take this test without electronic devices.

Electronic devices will not be permitted during the actual test. Thus, it is recommended that you take the practice test without using calculators, cell phones, computers, etc. for reliable results.

Read the answer key for all questions, even the ones you got right.
