User Guideline for MConsultingPrep Coaching Service
After months of developing and testing this product, we are pleased to announce the launch of our Coaching Service on MConsultingPrep.
As a special offer for our early adopters, we are offering 20% off all meetings.
Before booking a meeting, please read this document carefully. It outlines what you can expect from this early version of the platform, as well as how to book and conduct a meeting.
Our 1-1 Coaching Service allows you to book a meeting with one of our best ex-MBB coaches for resume review, case interview practice, PEI practice, case written review, or any other topics you desire. Our coaches will provide you with the guidance and advice needed to succeed in your MBB application.
How to book a meeting?
1. Book a meeting
- Choose a suitable coach
- Choose a coaching service (30/60/90 minute meeting), select the timeslot, then click Book
- Pay for the meeting. Please complete the checkout within 15 minutes, otherwise, the timeslot will not be reserved. In case you click "Book" but then close the checkout page, your timeslot will still be reserved for 15 minutes since you clicked "Book". If you would like to rebook that slot, please wait until the timeslot is released.
After you complete the checkout, please wait for the coach to confirm your meeting. At this stage, its status is Waiting for Confirmation.
If the coach rejects your booking or does not respond within 72 hours, you will receive a full refund, and you’ll be free to book a different meeting instead.
Note: Your booking will also be cancelled if the payment is unsuccessful. In such case, please contact us through [email protected] for further assistance.
2. Meeting is confirmed
Once your coach confirms your meeting, you CANNOT cancel it. At this stage, you should clearly discuss your expectations with your coach.
You will see that the status of your meeting has been changed to Confirmed.
3. Meeting In Progress
As soon as the coach starts the meeting, its status will be changed into In Progress. If you cannot join the meeting when the time comes and you see its status is still ‘’Confirmed’’, please remind the coach to join the meeting. You can join the meeting when your coach starts.
If you miss your meeting, you are deemed to cancel your meeting and will NOT receive a refund. Please discuss with your coach to reschedule your meeting if the coach agrees.
4. Meeting ended
Once the coach has marked the meeting as "Complete", it will be changed to "Ended". If you have any issues, please contact your coach or our support team within 3 days.
5. Meeting completed
You have marked the meeting as "Complete" or after three days of the meeting ending, it is automatically changed to Completed.
How to reschedule?
There are two different types of rescheduling action:
- For a meeting that is Waiting for Confirmation: You can change the timeslot after your booking request is sent to the coach. The new booking timeslot will replace the previous one, and the coach will need to confirm the new timeslot.
- For a meeting that is Confirmed: The rescheduling action will be performed in the form of a request. You need your coach's confirmation to reschedule the confirmed meeting. Talk to your coach in advance and send a reschedule request.
If the coach confirms the new schedule, the meeting will be conducted in the new timeslot. If the coach rejects the request, the meeting still keeps the timeslot that was previously confirmed by both sides.
In case there is no response for the request, the meeting is deemed to be cancelled by the person who requested the rescheduling (coach or candidate)
Cancellation & Refunds of sessions
You can cancel your meeting before it is confirmed and will receive a full refund. However, you are NOT allowed to cancel your confirmed meeting, resulting in no refund.
In the event of an urgent matter and before a meeting is conducted, you can discuss it with the coach. If the coach agrees to your cancel request, send an email to [email protected] (along with proof) to cancel. Our team will check with the coach and you will get a refund equal to 90% of the price of the coaching session.
A conducted meeting is non-refundable.
Notification
You will receive notification in each booking step via your email. Please check your email frequently. We are working on notification on our website, which will go live in February.
Chat
You can chat with your coach directly by clicking the button “Chat with Me”. You will not receive a notification for chat when you are not on the MConsultingPrep website, so please check your messages frequently.
Timezone
When you start booking, your default timezone is based on the time you set on your computer. Please DO NOT change your timezone unless it is absolutely necessary. If you do need to change your timezone when rescheduling, you will see that the time of that meeting will be adjusted accordingly
Please note that the purpose of this phase is for testing to make our product better. We understand that beta version can be rough around the edges. You may experience bugs and other issues. We will do our best to minimize disruption and make sure you have a positive experience. We appreciate your help in testing and improving our product.
